§ 122. TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ADMINISTRATION OF NON-DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS HEALTH CARE.

Establishment of Program .— The Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall develop and implement a training program to train employees and contractors of the Department of Veterans Affairs on how to administer non-Department health care programs, including the following: Reimbursement for non-Department emergency room care. The Veterans Community Care Program under section 1703 of title 38 , United States Code, as amended by section 101. Management of prescriptions pursuant to improvements under section 131.
Annual Evaluation and Report .— The Secretary shall— develop a method to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program developed and implemented under subsection (a); evaluate such program not less frequently than once each year; and not less frequently than once each year, submit to Congress the findings of the Secretary with respect to the most recent evaluation carried out under paragraph (2).
