§ 7671. Authorization of appropriations

(a)In general There are authorized to be appropriated to the President to carry out this chapter and the amendments made by this chapter $48,000,000,000 for the 5-year period beginning on October 1, 2008.
(b)Availability Amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in subsection
(a)are authorized to remain available until expended.
(c)Availability of authorizations Authorizations of appropriations under subsection
(a)shall remain available until the appropriations are made.
