§ 1265. INTERAGENCY REVIEW OF MODIFICATIONS TO CATEGORY XV OF THE UNITED STATES MUNITIONS LIST.

In General .— Subject to section 38(f) of the Arms Export Control Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2778(f) ), the President shall ensure that the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Commerce and, as appropriate, the Director of National Intelligence and the heads of other appropriate Federal departments and agencies, will review any removal or addition of an item to Category XV of the United States Munitions List (relating to spacecraft systems and associated equipment). Effective Date .— The requirement of subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to any item described in subsection
(a)that is proposed to be removed or added to Category XV of the United States Munitions List on or after the date of the enactment of this Act [ Jan. 2, 2013 ].
