For the purpose of facilitating park road maintenance, and to include in the park certain property that is desirable for future use and development, the following land situated in section 7, township 14 south, range 28 east, Mount Diablo meridian, is excluded from the Sequoia National Forest and added to the Kings Canyon National Park: East half northeast quarter, east half west half northeast quarter, northeast quarter southeast quarter, east half northwest quarter southeast quarter, and those portions of the southeast quarter southeast quarter and of the east half southwest quarter southeast quarter, lying north of the right-of-way of State Highway 180.
