§ 959.14. Change of place of hearings.

Not later than the date fixed for the filing of the answer, a party may file a written request that a hearing be held at a place other than that designated in the notice. The party shall support the request with a statement outlining:
(a)The evidence to be offered in such place;
(b)The names and addresses of the witnesses who will testify; and,
(c)The reasons why such evidence cannot be produced at Arlington, VA. The presiding officer shall give consideration to the convenience and necessity of the parties and the relevancy of the evidence to be offered. \[39 FR 33213, Sept. 16, 1974, as amended at 63 FR 66052, Dec. 1, 1998\]
