Each contract having a provision for construction of specified roads with total estimated construction costs of \$50,000 or more shall include a provision to ensure that if the purchaser elects government road construction, the purchaser shall pay, in addition to the price paid for the timber or other forest products, an amount equal to the estimated cost of the roads. \[71 FR 11510, Mar. 8, 2006\]
