(a)Scope. This subpart applies to determinations made by the Secretary under section 8009 of the Act.
(b)Purpose. The sole purpose of the regulations in this subpart is to implement the provisions of section 8009. The definitions and standards contained in this subpart apply only with respect to section 8009 and do not establish definitions and standards for any other purpose. (Authority: 20 U.S.C. 7709)
