Subject to FBI regulations and policy, NCIC checks of visitors to a military installation may be authorized by the Installation/Garrison Commander as set forth in DoD 5200.08-R (Available at http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/520008r.pdf) and DoDI 5200.08 (Available at http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/520008p.pdf).
