§ 731.12. Submission of State programs.

Each State that wishes to regulate coal exploration and surface coal mining and reclamation operations on non-Federal and non-Indian lands within its boundaries shall submit three copies of a proposed program to the Director. A State may submit a proposed program at any time. The State shall retain sufficient copies of the program for public inspection under § 732.11(a). \[47 FR 26364, June 17, 1982\]
