§ 1229.109. Reimbursement for costs incurred by a State under the delegation of authority.

(a)The Department of the Interior
(DOI)shall reimburse the State for 100 percent of the direct cost associated with the activities undertaken under the delegation of authority. The State shall maintain books and records in accordance with the standards established by the DOI and will provide the DOI, on a quarterly basis, a summary of costs incurred for which the State is seeking reimbursement. Only costs as defined under the provisions of 30 U.S.C. 1735 are eligible for reimbursement.
(b)The State shall submit a voucher for reimbursement of costs incurred within 30 days of the end of each calendar quarter. \[49 FR 37351, Sept. 21, 1984\]
