(a)This part applies to each recipient of Federal financial assistance from the Department of Labor, and to every program or activity that receives such assistance.
(b)A government contractor covered by the provisions of section 503 of the Act shall be deemed in compliance with the employment provisions of these regulations if it is in compliance with 41 CFR part 60-741 (as amended after publication of these regulations) with respect to Federal financial assistance from the Department of Labor. \[45 FR 66709, Oct. 7, 1980, as amended at 68 FR 51367, Aug. 26, 2003\]
