§ 618.750. Maximum amount of Basic Trade Readjustment Allowances.

(a)General rule. Except as provided in paragraph
(b)of this section, the maximum amount of Basic TRA payable to an AAW is the product of 52 multiplied by the TRA weekly amount for a week of total unemployment, calculated under § 618.745(a) (weekly amounts of TRA), reduced by the total sum of UI (except State-funded additional compensation) that the AAW was entitled or would have been entitled to had the worker applied in such worker's first benefit period.
(b)Exceptions. The maximum amount of TRA determined under paragraph
(a)of this section does not include:
(1)The amount of dependents' allowances paid as a supplement to the base weekly amount determined under § 618.745; or
(2)The amount of the difference between the AAW's weekly increased allowances determined under § 618.745(b) and such worker's weekly amount determined under § 618.745(a).
