§ 10.725. When is a Federal grand or petit juror covered under the FECA?

(a)Federal grand and petit jurors are covered under the FECA when they are in performance of duty as a juror, which includes that time when a juror is:
(1)In attendance at court pursuant to a summons;
(2)In deliberation;
(3)Sequestered by order of a judge; or
(4)At a site, by order of the court, for the taking of a view.
(b)A juror is not considered to be in the performance of duty while traveling to or from home in connection with the activities enumerated in paragraphs
(1)through
(4)of this section.
