§ 1261.102. Maximum amount.

From October 1, 1982, to October 30, 1988, the maximum amount that may be paid under the Military Personnel and Civilian Employees' Claim Act of 1964, as amended (31 U.S.C. 3721) is $25,000, and on or after October 31, 1988, the maximum amount is $40,000 (Pub. L. 100-565, 102 Stat. 2833, October 31, 1988). [54 FR 35456, Aug. 28, 1989]
