This compilation of the laws of the state is to be designated as the “Tennessee Code” and the annotated edition of the code provided for by chapter 1 of this title shall be designated as “Tennessee Code Annotated”. Citations to the Tennessee Code Annotated may incorporate the abbreviations “Tenn. Code Ann.” or “T.C.A.”
As used in acts and resolutions of the general assembly, “Tennessee Code”, “Tennessee Code Annotated”, “Tenn. Code Ann.” or “T.C.A.” shall, unless a contrary intention is manifest, be construed to refer to this enactment of the Tennessee Code, amendments and revisions of the Tennessee Code, and additions and supplements to the Tennessee Code.
