XXI.— An Act in Addition to an Act to establish a Court at Key West in the State of Florida,Feb. 23, 1847.1847, ch. 20. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* ThatJurisdiction of the present District Court continued until the appointment and qualification of judge for the new district.Ante, p. 132. the jurisdiction at present exercised, under the existing laws, by the District Court of the United States for the District of Florida, shall continue to be exercised by the said court until a judge shall have been appointed and qualified under the provisions of an act of this session, entitled “An Act to establish a Court at Key West in the State of Florida,” any thing in the said act to the contrary notwithstanding.
