Chap. XVI.— An Act granting the Franking Privilege to Louisa Catharine Adams. March 9, 1848. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Franking privilege granted to Mrs. Adams. That all letters and packets carried by post to and from Louisa Catharine Adams, widow of the late John Quincy Adams, be conveyed free of postage during her natural life. Approved, March 9, 1848.
