Chap. XII.— An Act for the Relief of Colonel Robert Wallace, Aid-de-camp to General William Hull. Jan. 8, 1849. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Col. R. Wallace to be paid $734 in full compensation fur his services as aid-decamp to Brigadier-General William Hull. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Colonel Robert Wallace, or his legal representative, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of seven hundred and thirty-four dollars, in full compensation for his services as aid-de-camp to Brigadier-Genera] William Hull, commencing May first, eighteen hundred and twelve, and continuing for the period of twelve months; and the further sum of one hundred and eighty dollars for one of the horses alleged to have been taken by the enemy at the surrender of General Hull.
