Chap. XCIII.— An Act to provide for the final Settlement of the Accounts of Thomas C. Sheldon, lately Receiver of public Moneys at Kalamazoo, Michigan. March 2, 1849. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Accounts of Thomas C. Sheldon to be audited and settled upon principles of justice and equity.Amount found due to be paid him. That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and required to audit and settle the accounts of Thomas C.
Sheldon, late receiver of public moneys at Kalamazoo, Michigan, upon principles of equity and justice; and that whatever sum or sums of money, if any, be found due said Sheldon, shall be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, March 2, 1849.
