Chap. LXXVIII.— An Act to increase the Pension of Roswell Hale. March 3, 1847. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Pension of Roewell Hale in- That the pension of Roswell Hale be increased so that he shall be entitled to receive,TWENTY-NINTH CONGRESS. Sess. II. Ch. 79, 80, 81, 82. 1847.695 creased, from 1 January 1846, to $8 per month.from and after the first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty-six, the sum of eight dollars per month during his natural life, in lieu of the pension which he now receives under the act of the twenty-third April, eighteen hundred.
