Chap. LXX.— An Act for the Relief of the Citizens of Beetown, in the Territory of Wisconsin. March 3, 1847. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Citizens of Beetown authorized to enter a certain quantity of land. That the citizens of the town of Beetown, in the Territory of Wisconsin, shall be entitled to enter, at the proper land office, the north-east quarter, and the north-east quarter of the south-east quarter, of section thirty, in township number four north, in range four west, in said Territory, at the minimum price, for the use and benefit of the occupants thereof, according Entry, how made.to their respective interests: *Provided*, that such entry may be made in the name of the corporate authorities of said town; and if said town shall not be incorporated, in the name of the district judge of the district in which such town is situated, in trust for the use and benefit of the citizens of said town, the execution of which trust as to the disposal of the lots in such town, and the proceeds of the sales thereof, to be conducted under such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the Legislature of the Territory or State of Wisconsin.
