Chap. LXVIII.— An Act for the Relief of Captain Nathan Adams, of Tennessee. Sept. 20, 1850. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Accounting officers of the treasury authorized to settle this account of Capt. N. Adams. That the proper accounting officers of the treasury settle and adjust the account of Captain Nathan Adams, on the principles of justice and equity, and admit to his credit such sums, not exceeding three hundred and thirty-five, dollars and two cents, as shall be proved to their satisfaction to have been expended in the service of the United States in the quartermaster’s department, pertaining to the war with Mexico Approved, September 20, 1850.
