Chap. LXVIII.— An Act for the Relief of Jesse Young. Feb. 22, 1849. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Pension of Jesse Young increased to the rate of $16 per month. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, required to pay to Jesse Young (whose name is now on the roll of invalid pensions) at the rate of sixteen dollars per month, instead of the pension now received by him, to commence on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and forty-eight. Approved, February 22, 1849.
