Chap. LXVIII.— An Act for the Relief of the Administrators of Joseph Edson, deceased, late Marshal of the District of Vermont. March 3, 1847. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, $424 91 to be paid to administrators of J. Edson, being the amount of certain fees due him while U. S. marshal, &c. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause to be paid to the administrators of Joseph Edson, deceased, late marshal of the district of Vermont, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of four hundred and twenty-four dollars and ninety-one cents, being the amount of fees due him on certain executions in favor of the United States, which were executed by him while marshal aforesaid; and which fees were charged by him in his account, and disallowed by the accounting officers of the Treasury Department.
