Chap. LIII.— An Act to extend the Port of New Orleans.Sept. 16, 1850. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the port of New Port of New Orleans extended. Orleans shall be, and is hereby, so extended as to embrace the whole parish of New Orleans on both sides of the Mississippi River. Approved, September 16, 1850.
