Chap. LI.— An Act for the Relief of John Mitchell. May 29, 1848. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, A pension of $10 per month allowed to John Mitchell. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, required to place the name of John Mitchell on the roll of invalid pensions, and that he pay him semiannually at the rate of ten dollars per month, for and during his natural life, commencing on the fifteenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and forty-seven. Approved, May 29, 1848.
