Chap. CXXVI.— An Act for the Relief of Elizabeth Betts, of the City of New York. Aug. 8, 1846. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Elizabeth Betts to receive a pension of $50 per annum. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to place the name of Elizabeth Betts on the revolutionary pension roil at the rate of fifty dollars per annum, for fifteen months’ service of her husband, Preserved Betts; and that her pension commence the twenty-fifth December, eighteen hundred and forty-three. Approved, August 8, 1846.
