Chap. CXXIX.— An Act for the Relief of Robert Ellis. Aug. 5, 1848. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, A pension of $66 per annum allowed Robert Ellis in addition to the pension he now receives. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, required to pay to Robert Ellis, of the State of Tennessee, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of sixty-six dollars per annum, for and during his natural life, in addition to the thirty dollars per annum now paid him under the act of seventh of June, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two, in consequence of wounds received by him in the war of the Revolution; said pension to commence from and after the fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and forty-six.
