Chap. CXCVI.— An Act granting a Pension to William Pittman. Aug. 14, 1848. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, A pension of S8 per month allowed to William Pittman. That the Secretary of War is hereby directed to place the name of William Pittman on the list of invalid pensioners of the United States, and that the said Pittman be entitled to receive a pension of eight dollars per month, from the thirteenth day of May, eighteen hundred and forty-six, and to continue during his natural life. Approved, August 14, 1848.
