Chap. CXCIX.— An Act for the Relief of William Hogan, Administrator of Michael Hogan, deceased. Aug. 14, 1848. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, $16,831 to be paid William Hogan in full compensation for the services of the deceased and moneys advanced by him as agent for the navy department at Valparaiso. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is, directed to pay, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to William Hogan, administrator of Michael Hogan, deceased, the sum of sixteen thou-sand eight hundred and thirty-one dollars and eighty-seven cents, it being in full compensation for the services rendered and moneys advanced by the said Michael Hogan, as agent or factor for the Navy Department at Valparaiso.
