Chap. XXXVII.— An Act for the relief of Thomas Hall Jervey. Feb. 24, 1819. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury shall cause to $5000 to be paid to him.be paid to Thomas Hall Jervey, surveyor of the port of Charleston, one-half of the amount received by the United States, on account of the condemnation of the schooner the Lovely Cordelia, and of the James and Elizabeth, and that an amount, not exceeding five thousand dollars, be appropriated for this purpose, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, February 24, 1819.
