Chap. XXXIX.— An Act *for the relief of Stephen Crittenton.* Feb. 17, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is Payment for ground conveyed to U. S.hereby, authorized and directed to cause to be paid to Stephen Crittenton, of the city of Middletown, in the state of Connecticut, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, being the value of a piece of ground, situate in said city, which he caused to be conveyed to the United States, in part for a site on which the Secretary of the Treasury had decided that he would build a custom-house.
