Chap. XXXI.— An Act for the relief of John A. Dix. April 5, 1820. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to John A. Dix, a lieutenant in the armyTo be paid for extra services. of the United States, one hundred and twelve dollars, in full, for extra services performed as adjutant, under the command of Colonel John B. Walbach, in Portsmouth harbor, in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen; and that the same be paid out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated. Approved, April 5, 1820.
