Chap. XXX.— An Act *for the relief of Henry Knowles, senior.* Feb. 17, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Third Auditor of the Treasury ascertain Payment for a horse impressed.the value of a horse, the property of said Knowles, impressed into the service of the United States in the year eighteen hundred and four-teen, by order of Captain Humphreys of Virginia, to transport the baggage of his company to Baltimore, and not returned; and that the Secretary of the Treasury pay to the said Henry Knowles, senior, the value, when so ascertained, out of any money in the treasury not other-wise appropriated.
