Chap. XXX.— An Act for the relief of Abigail Appleton. March 3, 1830. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Navy be, and hereby is, authorized and required to place the name of Abigail Appleton, theTo be placed on the pension list. widow of Daniel Appleton, upon the pension list, and to allow to her a pension, to commence from the third day of September, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-nine, pursuant to the provisions of the act, entitled “An act in addition to an act giving pensions to the orphansAct of April 16, 1818, ch. 65.Act of March 3, 1819. ch. 60. and widows of persons slain in the public or private armed vessels of the United States,” and the act to which the same is an addition, subject to the conditions and limitations therein contained.
