Chap. XXVIII.— An Act for the relief of Captain Selah Benton. Feb. 21, 1812. *Be it enacted, &c., * That Selah Benton, who served as a captain in To be placed on the pension list.the American army in the revolutionary war, be placed on the pension list, and that there be paid to him in the same manner that other pensions are paid, the sum of twenty dollars per month, to commence from the first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eleven. Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted, *That this act shall commence and be in force from and after the passage thereof. Approved, February 21, 1812.
