Chap. XXVII.— An Act for the relief of Lewis H. Guerlain. March 2, 1821. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there be paid to Lewis H. Guerlain, or his legal representatives, out of any money in the treasury not otherwiseTo be paid for injuries to his property by U.S. troops. appropriated, the sum of four hundred and twenty dollars, in full for injuries sustained by him, in consequence of his plantation and buildings having been occupied by the troops of the United States, during the invasion of New Orleans by the British, in the years eighteen hundred and fourteen—fifteen. Approved, March 2, 1821.
