Chap. XXVI.— An Act for the relief of Alexander Milne. March 2, 1821. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there be paid to Alexander Milne, or his legal representatives, out of any money in the treasury not otherwiseTo be paid for losses sustained from U. S. troops. appropriated, the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars, in full for the losses sustained by him in the destruction or injury of his building, and other property, by the troops of the United States, during the invasion of New Orleans by the British, in the years eighteen hundred and fourteen—fifteen. Approved, March 2, 1821.
