Chap. XXIX.— An Act for the relief of William Arnold. Feb. 2, 1815. *Be it enacted, &c., * Amount due to be ascertained and paid. That the accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to ascertain, agreeably to the provisions of the laws heretofore in existence on that subject, the amount due William Arnold on a loan office certificate numbered twelve hundred and sixty-seven, which issued from the loan office of Massachusetts for six hundred dollars, on the twenty-fifth of October, one thousand seven hundred and seventy-seven, payable to Christopher Clark, with interest thereon from the first of January, one thousand seven hundred and eighty-three, to which time the interest has been paid; and that the amount which shall be found to be due, be paid to the said William Arnold out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
