March 2, 1821. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there be paid to John Rodriguez, or his legal representatives, out of any money in the treasury not otherwiseTo be paid for injuries to his property by U. S. troops. appropriated, the sum of eighteen hundred and fifty-seven dollars, in full for the injuries sustained by him, in consequence of his plantation and buildings having been occupied by the troops of the United States, during the invasion of New Orleans by the British, in the years eighteen hundred and fourteen—fifteen. Approved, March 2, 1821.
