Chap. XVIII.— An Act for the relief of Peter Landais. March 28, 1806. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is directed to pay to Peter Landais, late a captain of one of theSpecific appropriation. armed vessels of the United States, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of four thousand dollars, on account of his claim to prize money, accruing from certain captures made and carried into Bergen, in the year one thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine; to be deducted from his proportion of the money which may be obtained from the Danish government, in satisfaction of the claim aforesaid. Approved, March 28, 1806.
