Chap. XVIII.— An Act for the relief of Garrett Fountain. Jan. 31, 1824. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury Payment for house rent.department be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Garrett Fountain, of the state of New York, the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars, in full for the rent for three years and a half of a house erected by said Fountain, on the public ground, at New-Utrecht, Long-Island, in the state of New York; and that the said sum be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, January 31, 1824.
