Chap. XVII.— An Act for the relief of John Proctor. Feb. 18, 1832. *Be it enacted, &c., * That John Proctor, of the county of Perry, in the state Authorized to surrender land certificate, &c.of Alabama, be, and he is hereby authorized to surrender the certificate issued to him from the Land Office at Cahawba, in said state, for the east half of the north-west quarter section twenty-six, township twenty, range seven, east of the meridian, which was entered by him through mistake; and on filing his relinquishment to all right and title thereto, said John Proctor is authorized to enter in said Land Office at Cahawba, the east half of the north-west quarter section twenty-seven, in township twenty, and range seven; and in payment therefor, shall be credited with the amount of money which was paid for the tract first named.
