Chap. XVII.— An Act for the relief of Samuel Baylies. March 3, 1825. *Be it enacted, &c., * Payment to him for apprehending and delivering deserters. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Samuel Baylies, the sum of two hundred dollars, for apprehending and delivering twenty deserters to the commanding officer at Fort Armstrong, in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen. Approved, March 3, 1825.
