Chap. XVI.— An Act for the relief of Samuel H. Harper. Feb. 4, 1819. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is $500 to be paid to him.hereby, authorized and empowered to pay to Samuel H. Harper, of the state of Louisiana, the sum of five hundred dollars, as compensation for bringing to the seat of the general government the record of the decisions of the register and receiver, acting as commissioners, for the eastern land district of Louisiana, and that the same be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, February 4, 1819.
