Chap. XLVIII.— An Act *for the relief of Michael Cased.*April 4, 1838. *Be it enacted, &c*.,That Michael Cassel, of Laporte county, in the state of Indiana,May surrender a land certificate, and enter other land. be, and he is hereby, authorized to surrender the certificate issued to him from the land office at Laporte, in said state., for lots numbered one and two, or the east part of section thirty-five, township thirty-seven north, of range one west, which was entered by him through mistake; and, on filing his relinquishment to all right and title thereto, the said Michael Cassel is hereby authorized to enter in said land office at Laporte an equal quantity of any of the public land remaining unoccupied and subject to private entry in the Laporte land district, with that for which he has paid and shall relinquish, and be entitled to a certificate for the same.
