Chap. XLVI.— An Act for the relief of the widow of Joseph Knight.Feb. 20, 1833. *Be it enacted, &c.,* That the Secretary of War be, and hereby is, Payment of amount due J. Knight at the time of his decease. directed to pay, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the widow of Joseph Knight, late a soldier in Captain Benjamin Pierce’s company, in the corps of artillery, the amount due to said Joseph at the time of his decease, by virtue of the certificate of John Gale, assistant surgeon of the corps of United States’ artillery, now on file at the war department. Approved, February 20, 1833.
