Chap. XLIII.— An Act *for the relief of James J. Pattison.*March 28, 1838. *Be it enacted, &c*.,That the Secretary of the Treasury pay, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to James J. Pattison,Payment for property destroyed. the sum of four thousand two hundred dollars, for his house and property on the Patuxent, in Calvert county, Maryland, destroyed by the British troops in June one thousand eight hundred and fourteen. Approved, March 28, 1838.
