Chap. XLII.— An Act for the relief of Sarah Shillito. March 3, 1825. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury pay to Sarah Shillito, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated,$350 to be paid to her for the destruction of her house while occupied by U. S. troops. the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars for a house destroyed in the summer of one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, while in the occupation of the United States’ troops; deducting, however, from the above sum, the amount that has been paid for the rent of said house, by any officer of the army of the United States. Approved, March 3, 1825.
