Chap. XLII.— An Act for the relief of Barbara Paulas. April 22, 1824. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there shall be paid to Barbara Paulas, motherPayment to Barbara Paulas, mother of John Zeabold, seaman on board U. S. sloop of war Wasp.Act of April 20, 1816, ch. 65. and heir at law of John Zeabold, late a seaman on board the United States’ sloop of war Wasp, the amount of gratuity, and prize money, to which she was entitled, by an act passed on the twentieth day of April, eighteen hundred and sixteen, entitled “An act respecting the late officers and crew of the sloop of war Wasp,” in the same manner as if she had made application therefor within the time limited by said act; and that the same shall be paid out of the navy pension fund, of which, by the provision of said act, it has become apart; the limitation, as to the time within which application was required to be made, contained in said act, to the contrary notwithstanding.
